  • Have a Descriptive Title
    • Make the title clear and concise. Please include some unique keywords that pertain to your request


  • Include All Ticket Properties as Best You Can
    • Not all fields are required, but the more information you can provide, the better.


  • Description
    • Be sure to include all necessary information, such as:
      • Student's first and last name, correct spelling
      • Email addresses
      • URL to course or course ID number
      • Include screenshots or screencasts (videos)
      • Specifics of your situation



Here is an example of a good ticket. Notice the ticket contains a unique title, has all the ticket property fields filled, includes a screenshot with a highlighted portion, links to the course, and even a Canvas Community link proving the submitter has searched for a solution to this.
